About

I’m the Senior Criminal Justice Reporter at WPLN News, Nashville Public Radio. For the last few years I’ve investigated guns, domestic violence and juvenile justice as a reporting fellow with ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network. My investigative work has resulted in policy proposals at Tennessee’s state capitol and has been recognized by IRE and the Livingston Awards. I’m also the Southern Chapter leader for the Association of Gun Violence Reporters. If you have story ideas or tips, you can reach me at Paige@WPLN.org.

Before moving to Middle Tennessee, I covered criminal justice and the addiction crisis in Ohio, and was awarded Ohio’s Associated Press Reporter of the Year in 2019. In the decade I’ve worked in journalism, I’ve worked in the newsrooms of NPR, Vox, Michigan Radio, WHYY and The Tennessean, and my work has appeared nationally in The Washington Post, Marketplace, PRI’s The World, USA Today and more.
