I’m a reporter at WOSU News, central Ohio’s NPR station. In 2019, I was Ohio’s Associated Press Reporter of the Year, and Ohio’s Rising Star.

Before joining the staff of WOSU, I worked in the newsrooms of NPR, Vox, Michigan Radio, WHYY and The Tennessean. I spent three years in Philadelphia covering health, science, and gender, and my work has appeared nationally in The Washington Post, Marketplace, PRI’s The World, Atlas Obscura and more.

In my free time, I make music as Southwick with Shamir Bailey for Accidental Popstar Records.
